An informative and interesting first edition hardcover book dated 1958. It is a chronological survey of the Roman occupation written by a team of archaeological experts and edited by I A Richmond. There are maps and black and white photographs accompanying the text. This is an ex library copy with library stamps. The condition of the boom is clean with a good spine for its age. There is a bit of wear to the dust jacket cover on the rear but the whole jacket is protected by a tight fitted clear plastic covering which makes the book look very neat and tidy and well protected.
